Rolls-Royce, 1912

This model represents a 1912 Rolls-Royce 40/50hp car, usually known as a "Silver Ghost". It has a landaulette body, where the rear portion of the passenger compartment roof can be opened to the sky.

The model was designed by Richard Vyškovský and published by ABC in 2001. It is to scale 1:32, like most of ABC's motor cars. I had considerable problems with the fit of the parts, not least because a full interior is included, requiring lamination of inside and outside skins for the driving and passenger compartments and the complex running board and mudguard assemblies. I ended up adjusting the shapes of most parts, though managed to keep the artwork more or less intact.
